Retriever Training

We are prayerfully moving forward in retriever training, we have trained our own dogs but have begun slowly taking client dogs for puppy obedience training, and hunt test training. We have access to several acres in the Concord community to train on, including our own 40 acres, we are especially thankful for family and friends who allow us to access all their property! We like to provide different training locations and scenarios to prepare your pup for real hunting situations, and hunt tests. We use bumpers, frozen ducks, and dokken training dummies, we currently have 3 zinger wingers.

We currently have a waiting list.

About the Trainer.

My name is Chance Waggoner, this is a family-oriented business, with the help of my wife, Britni, and kids, Luke (7) and Malli (5), your dogs are in good hands! I amIMG_1386 a Christian and faithfully serve our Lord Jesus Christ, I am actively involved at our local church (Martin’s Chapel Church of the Nazarene). I am called to be a worship leader, and lead worship on Sundays as well as different outreach events. I am involved in outreach youth/children’s ministry on Wednesday nights and anything else I can do to further The Kingdom.

My love for the retriever began when my wife MADE us get a puppy 6 years ago, she (Maggie) just happened to be a chocolate lab, I didn’t realize it at the time but God was putting everything into place! Now 6 years later, and 4 chocolate labs later, here we are!

I have studied, practiced and have trained under one of the top of the line pro trainers (Tommy Burford, RiverMist retrievers, THANKS TOMMY!), Tommy continues to answer my calls and walk me through Questions I have, I fell in love with the sport! I have always duck hunted but never with a dog, until Maggie, I was hooked. Hunt test are also so fun and such a good way to prove your dog’s ability and your own ability for that matter. Also a great way to meet some great people!! Labs are extremely smart and need a guide. Kinda like us, huh?? With Jesus as our guide and our obedience to Him, everything falls into place.

I would love the opportunity to train your dog to be the best hunting partner around!
